At Pappy’s, we believe every pet owner deserves clarity and confidence when entrusting us with their pet. Our policies cover everything from health and safety requirements to check-in and check-out procedures, all built around our commitment to transparent, fair pricing with no hidden fees. Healthy & Safety

The health and safety of every pet in our care is our top priority. The following policies ensure a safe and healthy environment for all guests.

Pet Vaccination Policy

Our vaccination requirements for dogs:

Rabies current with your vet
Distemper/Parvo (DPHHC) current with your vet
Bordetella (Kennel Cough) given every 6 months

Our vaccinations requirements for cats:

Rabies current with your vet
Feline Distemper (FVRCP) current with your vet

We unable to accept selfadministered vaccinations. Pets must receive vaccinations a minimum of 72 hrs (3 days) prior to entering facility. If your pet is not current on vaccinations, we will not be able to accept them. This is for the safety of all pets in our care.

Pet Age Policy

In order to be admitted for any service, your pet must be a minimum of 4 months of age. This policy exists for the safety and health of each pet in our care. Puppies and kittens must receive last set of vaccinations a minimum of 7 days prior to entering the facility.

Check-In & Check-Out

We want every visit to go as smoothly as possible. Please review the following policies regarding pick-up times and after-hours arrangements.

Late Check-out Policy

A “late check-out” fee of $15 per pet applies for any pets picked up after 1:00 pm.

After-Hours Pick-Up Policy

Our enrichment centers close at 7:00 PM. Pick-up after 7:10 PM incurs a $1.00-per-minute late fee. It is the owner’s responsibility to communicate their expected pick-up time in advance. After 10 minutes, we reserve the right to convert the appointment to an overnight lodging stay.

Reopening Fee Policy

At Pappy’s, we try to accommodate any requests to the best of our abilities. This includes reopening our business for any pet owners who wish to pick up their pet outside of business hours. A $100 fee applies for after-hours reopening. Please contact your nearest Pappy’s location to arrange this in advance.

Billing & Payment

At Pappy’s, we believe in transparent, upfront pricing with no surprises. The following policies outline our payment expectations and deposit requirements.

Lodging Deposit Policy

Certain dates require a deposit for lodging services, including holidays and peak periods. The deposit is $45.50. Customers paying online or by phone will also incur a non-refundable $4.50 convenience fee. This fee is waived when paying in person.

Insurance Claims & Payment Policy

In the event a pet is boarded due to a home-related incident, lodging fees are the owner’s responsibility regardless of insurance coverage. We do not bill or coordinate with insurance companies directly. Customers are responsible for managing any reimbursement claims with their provider. Payment is due in full at pick-up.

Extended Stays Policy

Clients checking in for lodging without a confirmed pick-up date are required to prepay for a minimum of half the expected stay. If no estimated pick-up date can be provided, a two-week lodging deposit will be collected at check-in.
