Bob started with Pappy's in 2011 and fit in perfectly as the manager at our Rockwall location. Because of Bob's passion for animals, he was eager to come out of retirement and spend all day caring for animals in the workplace. His dog, Pappy, is our Rockwall store mascot. He also has a 7 year old rottweiler mix named Gretchen at home. When not at Pappy's, Bob enjoys motocycling and woodworking.

Bob started the Ready 2 Rescue Non-Profit dedicated to adopting out dogs that are difficult to find homes for. Through Ready 2 Rescue, Bob and Pappy's Pet Lodge has adopted out several dogs to wonderful new homes that would have otherwise been put down in a shelter.

"Whenever life or work gets stressful, I love having the opportunity to go play with the dogs. After just a few minutes getting kisses from dogs, the stress melts away and I come back smiling!"

She loves animals and feels that having a career caring for them is like a dream come true! She has a Chihuahua named Jack and a Rat Terrier named Avie. Her pups are like her children. They go everywhere with her and absolutely adore car rides! When Tiffany is not at Pappy’s, she is enjoying the outdoors with her dogs, like camping or swimming. She also likes to read and watch movies.

Tiffany treats her own dogs like her children, and she strives to give our client’s pets the same love and attention that her pets receive at home.

“I love seeing how excited the dogs are to come and play at Pappy’s. I love meeting new people and getting to know their pets!”

We were blessed to add Healani to the Pappy's Rockwall team in September 2014.  Applying to Pappy's was a no-brainer for Healani, since she has always loved being around and learning about animals since she was a little girl.  In her own words, "Why would I choose another career!?"  Healani's upbeat personality is perfect for caring for pets and helping wherever needed.  Since starting at Pappy's, she has loved meeting all the different doggie personalities!  "I know that everyday I work, without a doubt, someone's pet is going to make me laugh!"

Healani has 4 boys at home - Damien the Doberman, Gambit the Havanese mix, Conrad Cooper the Chow/Shepherd, and Dasher the Catahoula mix.  Damien is the only pup that she didn't find as a stray.  Her boys are her kids and she loves them unconditionally!  When she is not at Pappy's or caring for her pet family, she is catching up on sleep, tv sessions, listening to comedians, and reading barkpost.  She loves taking Dasher hiking and swimming.  Healani also enjoys discovering new places and traveling.

"I understand how nerve wracking it is leaving your pet behind for leisure or business.  I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is comfortable and having the time of their life while at Pappy's!  There's nothing more important to me than making sure they are cared for and safe.  I would expect nothing less for my boys!"
